I take with me the memory of Friday afternoon ACM happy hours, known not for kegs of beer, but rather bowls of rainbow sherbet punch. Over the several years that I attended these happy hours they enjoyed varying degrees of popularity, often proportional to the quality and quantity of the accompanying refreshments - but there was always the rainbow sherbert punch.

I take with me memories of purple parking permits, the West Campus shuttle, checking my pendaflex, over-due library books, trying to print from cec, lunches on Delmar, friends who slept in their offices, miniature golf in Lopata Hall, The Greenway Talk, division III basketball, and trying to convince Dean Russel that yet another engineering school rule should be changed.

Finally, I would like to conclude, not with a memory, but with some advice. What would a graduation speech be without a little advice, right? Anyway, this advice comes in the form of a verse delivered to the 1977 graduating class of Lake Forest College by Theodore Seuss Geisel, better known to the world as Dr. Seuss - Heres how it goes:

My uncle ordered popovers from the restaurants bill of fare. And when they were served, he regarded them with a penetrating stare . . . Then he spoke great Words of Wisdom as he sat there on that chair: "To eat these things," said my uncle, "you must excercise great care. You may swallow down whats solid . . . BUT . . . you must spit out the air!"

And . . . as you partake of the worlds bill of fare, thats darned good advice to follow. Do a lot of spitting out the hot air. And be careful what you swallow.

Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen, today my topic is "My Dream,Chinese Dream".

Dream, is a beacon of your life; dream, is your better vision; dream, is you ideal wings; and having dreams, you will have a future.

"Now, everybody was discussing the Chinese dream, I think, realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, is the greatest dream of the Chinese nation since the modern words are claimed by Xi Jinping. This is the general secretary of Xi jinping ?s Chinese dream. But as a contemporary college students, what is our Chinese dream? Can we dare to dream?

The answer is yes. We college students have no dare not dream, we not only need to bravely dream, but also hard to dream! As we all know, the highest honor of the nursing field is get the Nightingale prize. Each of years china had more or less people gotten this honor. Whenever I see the time that they wearing a silver medal and holding flowers standing on the podium to getting applause and glory, I couldnt help of imaging myself standing on the stage like t ……此处隐藏5424个字…… to the present do not know some of the mystery，or we have no way to explain some phenomena.

we are willing to bury the reality of the cruelty and injustice，we are our parents，our elders could not understand some of the practice of life，we do not understand why they like to do ah. it is our wish too much too young to bury social experience. attitude of life when we are not deep.

down we love fantasy，love to dream of behavior，we need to do one for the people and human progremake a difference. to our actions to prove that we have！

I enter tile university after years of hard study and preparation. But life in the university is not as satisfactory as what I had expected. I become lazy and don't want to study.I become silcent. I become puzzled. I don't know what I can do in the future. Then I become unhappy.

Four years in the university is only a short period when compared my whole lifetime. Now it has passed a half. In this year, many people ,such as my parents,my friends, ask me what I want to do and tell me to map out a plan for my life. I don't want to follow their suggestion, and I want to go my style. So I think carefully. I have been a young volunteer(志愿者) for five years.It's very happy and significant.

Then I have a dream.I want to join the University Student Volunteers Go West Programe. I think I can be a teacher in the west.I want to try my best to help them and help me. I want to see the world cearly. Now I can't reach its demand and it's very diffcult,but I will work hard in the next two years. There is an old saying"where there is a will,there is a way.(有志者事竟成)"I think my dream can come ture.Now in the university I mature,and in the university I prepare for the real world.

At last,I want to say to everybody"Hlod fast to your dreams,no matter how big or small they are.The path to dreams may not be smooth and wide,even some sacrifices are needed.But hold on to the end,you can find there is no geater happiness than making your dream come ture."

What is friendship? It is to relate with somebody without need for money or objective. It is to need emotion and over wealth is friendship，no matter what their background，age or personality.

Friendship can be pure. We hear，nowdays, however, how one can be cheated by friends. Many people get along with someone because they have a lot of money. It is doultful that is real friendship.

Having friends, one can be find happiness. If you are in trouble your friends will help you through or at least comfort you. When you are happy，they share it with you. They are also there for you to chat with at any time.

It is a wonderful feeling, as the proverb says" to love each other is easy but to make frieds is hard"，So, it is crutial that we should get along with our friends. In my opinon，it is a shame to deceive your friends . The world would be more beautiful if it was full of filled with friendship
